Kitnuna Projects Inc. (KPI) has been based in Cambridge Bay for the past 10 years and is continuing to grow and evolve as a company. KPI is involved in local road work as well as large environmental reclamation contracts. KPI has carried out many successful contracts across the Arctic and continues to employ beneficiaries from many Nunavut communities. KPI supplies equipment and staff to exploration and mining projects across the Kitikmeot region. KPI is one of the largest private employers in the Kitikmeot region.

Kitnuna Expediting Services Limited (KESL) is based in Cambridge Bay. KESL is responsible for purchasing and supplying remote camps and operations via cat trains, air and sealift. KESL handles aircraft shipments including loading and offloading for other clients in the community of Cambridge Bay.

Kitnuna Petroleum Ltd. formerly known as Fred H. Ross & Associates Ltd. is long standing company in Cambridge Bay. Kitnuna Petroleum is responsible for all fuel ordering and fuel delivery in the Hamlet of Cambridge Bay. Fuel is the lifeline for any Northern community. Prior to becoming Kitnuna Petroleum, Fred H. Ross had been happy to serve Cambridge Bay since the early 1960’s.


Kitnuna Corporation is made up of our two administrative offices in Cambridge Bay and Edmonton. The main areas of responsibility for Kitnuna Corporation are personnel and administration.
